Ultra Music Festival announces dates outside of Winter Music Conference 2011

Earlier today Winter Music Conference announced the dates for WMC 2011. We were immediately surprised by the change of dates, instead of last week in March - next year WMC will be held between 8 - 12 of March. I call earlier today to WMC headquarters did not confirm dates for Ultra, as we were curious to know.
Later in the afternoon Ultra Music Festival announced it's official dates. March 25 - 27, 2011 (3 days). Currently the UMF site is down (we assume due to increased traffic on their server). So we are left with the question now; Why did Ultra and WMC separated from each other and how will this effect attendance to both venues.
